Marmon
Marmon is a field in North Dakota, operated by Enerplus Resources Usa Corporation (derived).
- Production, last 12 months
- 0.073 million Sm³ o.e.
- Converted · too low · Aug 2025–Jul 2026 · NDIC · 8 Oct 2026
Converted: Converted from the source's figures (Aug 2025–Jul 2026). Oil equivalent by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's rule: oil, condensate and NGL in Sm³ count equally, 1,000 Sm³ of gas = 1 Sm³ o.e. and 1 tonne of NGL = 1.9 Sm³ o.e. Converted from barrels: 1 barrel = 0.158987 m³ (42 US gallons). The source's barrels are at 60 °F and Sm³ at 15 °C; the difference is under 0.1%. Converted from Mcf: 1 Mcf (60 °F, 14.73 psia) ≈ 28.33 Sm³ (15 °C, 101.325 kPa). The total is of the wells the source reports: in Jul 2026 the source withholds the figures for 1 confidential wells, so the figure is too low.

Rounded to the nearest 10 below 1,000, the nearest 100 below 10,000 and the nearest 1,000 above that. The total is of the wells the source reports: in Jul 2026 the source withholds the figures for 1 confidential wells, so the figure is too low.
Too low: The source withholds the figures for confidential wells in some of the months, so the figure is too low.

Notes
- Operated production in July 2026 (operator per well at NDIC, not an ownership share): ENERPLUS RESOURCES USA CORPORATION: 21 wells, 10,997 barrels of oil; NEPTUNE OPERATING LLC: 26 wells, 6,010 barrels of oil; OASIS PETROLEUM NORTH AMERICA LLC: 3 wells (1 confidential), 0 barrels of oil, too low: the source withholds figures for 1 confidential well, oil sold from the confidential well (Runs) 0 barrels. NDIC withholds the production figures for 1 confidential well in the field. The figures are the sum of the wells with figures, summed by OESA from the well rows, so they are too low where this is stated, and OESA shows no shares of the field's oil. Oil sold (Runs) is NDIC's own figure and not the production.
- NDIC gives the operator of each well, not ownership shares. The companies' part of the production is therefore operated production, not ownership, and it is never treated as a share. A field gets an operator (marked derived) only when one company operates the wells with more than half of the field's oil in the latest month. When other companies have confidential wells in the field, it is not known who has the most. The oil sold (NDIC's Runs column, which is given for all wells, including the confidential ones) is then used instead, and this is stated at the field. If that does not show anyone with more than half either, the field is shown without an operator. The companies are listed with their names as NDIC writes them, and they are not linked to groups.
- The production is from NDIC's Monthly Production Report (Excel, one file per month, August 2025–July 2026), summed per field over the wells with figures: oil in barrels and gas in Mcf as NDIC gives them (the gas is produced gas, including gas that is flared). Each month is the Excel file as NDIC published it. NDIC states that later amendments are only in the PDF editions, so earlier months may differ slightly from them. Wells in WILDCAT (outside designated fields) and the oil in the SkimmedCrudeRecovery sheet (recovered at disposal wells) are not fields and are not included.
- Confidential wells are in the file without production figures (Oil, Gas, Wtr, Days and Flared are NULL), and NDIC withholds their production. For them NDIC gives only the oil and gas sold (Runs and GasSold). In July 2026 this applied to 255 of 22,466 wells. Fields with such wells show the sum of the reported wells, and this is stated at the field. For the operators the confidential wells are counted separately, and the sums there are marked «too low»; a figure NDIC withholds never becomes 0. The oil sold is only used to derive the operator where the production figures are not enough. NDIC's state totals in the PDF edition of the report are therefore higher than the sum of the fields here, and OESA shows no total for North Dakota as a whole.
- The fields in North Dakota are not in the map layers. The point for a field is the centre of the well positions NDIC gives, calculated by OESA, and it says nothing about the field's extent.
- Owners: NDIC does not publish ownership shares, only the operator per well.
- Status: NDIC gives no status for the field.
- Position: The point is the centre of 50 wells at NDIC, calculated by OESA.
- Production: Sum of reported wells, not the whole field: in July 2026, 1 wells were confidential, and NDIC withholds their production.
- Derived operator: NDIC gives the operator per well, not per field, and withholds the production figures for confidential wells. In July 2026, OASIS PETROLEUM NORTH AMERICA LLC had confidential wells in the field, so it is not known who has most of the field's oil. OESA therefore shows as operator the company operating the wells with more than half of the field's oil sold in NDIC's Monthly Production Report for July 2026 (the Runs column, which NDIC gives for all wells, including the confidential ones): ENERPLUS RESOURCES USA CORPORATION with 10,940 of 16,408 barrels (66.7%), summed by OESA from the well rows. Runs is the oil sold from the wells in the month, not the production, and can differ from it. It is not an ownership share.
