About OESA
OESA is a student association for anyone studying petroleum logistics, geology, economics or shipping. We analyse the Norwegian continental shelf: new discoveries, the companies that own them and the ships that carry the oil and gas onwards.
The association was founded in autumn 2026. We meet on campus in each city and work together online at shared analysis evenings.
OESA Analyse
Follow the shelf, the markets and the sea in one place.
The analysis page is our workbench: student analyses of energy companies, shipping and geology, and a live map of oil and gas in Europe and the rest of the world.

- Production and weather Monthly figures from the Norwegian Offshore Directorate (Sodir), and waves, wind and weather warnings from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
