About OESA
OESA is a student association for anyone studying petroleum logistics, geology, economics or shipping. We analyse the Norwegian continental shelf: new discoveries, the companies that own them and the ships that carry the oil and gas onwards.
The association was founded in autumn 2026.
OESA Analyse
Analyses, market data and a live map of oil and gas, in one place.
OESA Analyse is a workbench built around energy, offshore, shipping and geology. Student analyses of energy companies, shipping and offshore markets, and new discoveries sit alongside the market data behind them and a live map of oil and gas activity in Europe and worldwide.
- A globe of oil and gas worldwide Platforms, pipelines, fields, licences and wells in Europe and the rest of the world, from official and open sources.
- Energy stocks and prices 20 stocks from Oslo Børs, plus oil, gas and currencies, updated every minute.
- Production and weather Monthly figures from the Norwegian Offshore Directorate (Sodir), and waves, wind and weather warnings from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.

The board
The board consists of the President, the Vice-President, the heads of the three analysis teams, the Head of Communications and the Chief Financial Officer. Three of the positions have been filled. Tap a person to learn more, a city to see who is there, or a team further down to see its roles. You don't need any experience to apply for a vacant position.
